Lotto Double Rollover & EuroMillions 4x Rollover!

We’re all going lottery-crazy this weekend. Not only do we have a Lotto rollover bringing the jackpot to over £6 million, we also have a massive £44 million EuroMillions rollover too!

This weekend’s combined total jackpot amount climbs over the £50 million mark and makes this weekend one of the most exciting weekends so far in the 2013 lottery calendar.

Imagine playing in both National Lottery draws this weekend and winning - even if it’s just a share of the jackpot. Playing in a syndicate and boosting your chances of winning could be the difference between a normal run-of-the-mill Easter and an all-inclusive Easter holiday to Barbados.

So, as this weekend’s total jackpot amount up-for-grabs tops £50 million, do you want to be in with a chance of winning?

Let’s go through the costs:

If you want to play both the Lotto and EuroMillions this weekend it’s going to cost you £3. That’s £1 for the Lotto ticket and £2 for the EuroMillions ticket. With this you now only have 1 chance in each draw. That’s ok, but it’s not exactly great.

Imagine having 5 chances in each draw for as little as £1.50.

With LottoByText, the UK’s leading lottery syndicate operator, you can play in a small syndicate and massively increase your chances of winning a cash prize.

Just last month LottoByText had over 40,000 winners!

Not only will you get 5 chances to win the jackpot in tonight’s £44 million EuroMillions jackpot and Saturdays £6.1 million Lotto jackpot – you’ll also get 5 chances to win in Wednesday’s Lotto draw. That’s 15 chances each week to win at a cost of £1.50 per draw or £4.50 each week.

That’s only £1.50 more expensive that playing on your own this weekend (where you get just 2 chances to win).

Oh, and wait!

LottoByText have an exciting offer on at the moment. They are giving away
5 free lines in tonight’s £44 million EuroMillions Jackpot. All you have to do is sign up to the weekly subscription and you’ll get your first 5 lines in tonight’s EuroMillions draw free. If you don’t want to carry on your can always stop and you won’t have to pay a penny.

Play the EuroMillions for FREE on your mobile now.

National Lottery Lotto Price Hike Anger's Nation

Lottery players are threatening to quit the Lotto as Camelot warns the price of a Wednesday and Saturday Lotto ticket is to double.

News of the National Lottery hiking the price of a Lotto ticket has sent the public into a furore, prompting a media back lash that could be catastrophic for the UK’s biggest and most popular lottery.

The National Lottery’s Facebook page has been flooded with complaints. One user wrote ‘Ppl ant got much money ,jobs are goin all over place ! How can you justify puttin up 100% ? ?’ While another angry poster shouted ‘The people will hate you for taking their dream away in a recession when we need our dreams the most.’ Pauline Leather also commented on the Facebook page: 'As a pensioner on a budget I can't afford £2.00.'

While the National Lottery has got some cleaning up to do I think it’s worth looking into the details of the changes. While the price has doubled, Camelot stated this was due to public consultation and an improved service. Let’s see.

What's changed?
  • Guaranteed larger jackpots. Average jackpots on a Saturday bumped up to £5m and £2.5m on a Wednesday

  • If you match 3 balls you’ll now take home £25 rather than £10

  • A four ball match secures £100 rather than £60

  • Lotto Raffle – making 50 £20,000 winners per draw.

However, there are some serious draw backs

  • Prize pot for matching 5 numbers to drop by £500 to £1,000.

  • Matching 5 numbers and bonus ball will get you £50,000, half the previous amount.

The biggest peeve for National Lottery players is the doubling of the cost of the ticket. For the cash strapped public another increase in price is the last thing we want.

This is why I think it’s vital we start to think about alternative ways to play the lottery. Playing the lottery is about winning. It’s about being in the mix in hope of winning a cash prize. While winning the jackpot is near impossible; winning a cash prize is achievable if you play cleverly.

This is why playing in a lottery syndicate makes so much sense.

You can reduce the cost of playing each week whilst increasing your chances of winning a cash prize.

Let’s look at how playing as part of a LottoByText syndicate boosts your chances of winning a cash prize.

Each week you receive 10 Lotto Lines & 5 EuroMillions Lines. With the new Lotto changes in the Autumn you will now also get 10 Lotto Raffle chances on top of the usual 5 Millionaire Raffle chances. Therefore for only £4.50 per week, you’ll have 30 chances of winning a cash prize, every week.

So for just under a fiver, you’re chances of being a lottery winner have rocketed.

You had better get yourself signed up before you miss out on your 5 free lottery lines in the next draw.
